16.1. I have lost my password - how can I get a new password ?

The figure below shows the menu where a user can change password or request a new password, which will be send to him by Email. The password is generated by a random password generator every time anew, when a user is requesting a password. The passwords on the browser side are stored encrypted and can therefore not be recovered, if a user has lost his password.

After receiving a new password by Email, it is recommended to go back and change the password to a new user specific password.
